Robert Jenkins
Former Global Director of Education, UNICEF
I have had the privilege of collaborating with Chloë Fèvre in various capacities over the years — including during my tenure as Global Director of Education at UNICEF and, more recently, as a member of the faculty at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Chloë is widely recognized as one of the world’s foremost leaders in the field of preventing violence against children in and around schools. She combines deep technical expertise with an extraordinary commitment to ensuring that every child can learn in safety and dignity. Her leadership has shaped global policy and inspired collective action across governments, civil society, and multilateral organizations.
Her extensive experience in youth and gender-based violence prevention, particularly in some of the most challenging contexts, has established her as a global expert and thought leader in this critical field. Chloë’s rare ability to bridge research, policy, and practice has led to tangible and lasting impact on the lives of countless children and young people around the world.
Chloë has also generously shared her expertise with my students at Harvard, where her insights were both deeply inspiring and practically grounded. Her humility, clarity, and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone who had the opportunity to learn from her.
Without question, Chloë Fèvre is a global leader and trusted voice in the movement to end violence against children and to create safer, more inclusive schools for all.

The last decade of my career as a social development specialist has deepened my involvement in youth violence prevention and citizen security. I am forever grateful to three outstanding women who have been generous with their wisdom, open and honest with their feedback, and unwavering in their commitment to my growth and development.
Dr. Chloë Fèvre, Dr. Joan Hoffman (formerly of the World Bank), and Dr. Jasneth Mullings (UWI, Mona) — you are truly amazing!
Thank you, thank you! I will pay it forward!

Chloë is an exceptionally talented, multilingual, and highly experienced thought leader, as well as an action-oriented global professional in the field of preventing violence against children, especially those who are most vulnerable.
Having worked with her at the UN, I found her to be a deeply dedicated and truly inspiring individual, always seeking innovative ways to solve problems, build coalitions, and remain accountable for making a meaningful impact in this highly complex area.

Chloe is generous and great to work with. I collaborated with her on a public facing project and she was incisive, collaborative, and flexible, yet laser focused on the quality of the output. It was a pleasure.
Eyerusalem Azmeraw
Program Officer, UNESCO International Institute for Capacity Building in Africa
I would like to commend Chloë for her outstanding work in developing a comprehensive training guide on school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) in collaboration with UNESCO IICBA. Her professionalism, deep understanding of the subject matter, and commitment to promoting safe and inclusive learning environments were evident throughout the process. Chloë approached this important task with clarity, sensitivity, and a strong sense of purpose, ensuring the guide was both contextually relevant and pedagogically sound. Her ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and deliver high-quality results makes her an invaluable contributor to the field of education and gender equality.
Prof Jean KOULIDIATI
Delia Mamon
President and founder, Graines de Paix Foundation
I'm expressing myself here as President of Graines de Paix, whose mission is to prevent violence through education redesign - transforming why and how teachers teach and how children learn. So, when Chloë Fèvre and I met to discuss violence prevention strategies, we connected immediately. We shared the same mission, the same fire inside, the same ways of thinking systemically, at top level.
Governments in developing countries have multiple issues, of which poor education, violence of all kinds and cultural friction. This is where Chloë makes the difference. She's a deep listener and a synthetical thinker, who comes up with solid, solutions-oriented encompassing proposals. I was impressed by her ability to develop comprehensive strategies on violence prevention, always with practical methods and steps to get there. She then selects and adapts evidence to what can be done in a specific context.
Most importantly, Chloë is an authentic leader, whose objective is to make this world more secure, more empowering, starting with a nation's children, ie all children. Indeed, violence prevention for Chloë is not limited to child protection or reducing the number of cases of violence. It is to give space for widespread youth agency, which is the lever for countries striving for positive development.
I strongly recommend her for her expertise, her efficiency and her considerate style of accompaniment.

Executive Director, The Movements Trust
Chloe was a calm, considered and expert partner to work with, and I'd highly recommend her as a source of excellent and detailed knowledge, insight and collaborative skills; she also brings amazing networks and experience from a range of settings and complex partnerships. The world of violence prevention, particularly violence facing children, is better for her contributions.

Social Development Specialist, JSIF, Jamaica
I worked closely with Chloe while she was the Senior Violence Prevention Specialist at the World Bank between 2010-2015. During that time, she provided expert advice to me, other members of the JSIF team and other development specialists in Jamaica, while respecting our insight and experience as local specialists. A reliable high performer, she demonstrated unwavering cultural sensitivity which endeared her to many. Since her departure from the World Bank, her commitment remains to the development of Jamaica, resulting in her invitation as a key expert at the PIOJ Symposium of Best Practices for Social Community Development in 2024. Chloe, thank you for all your outstanding efforts to promote best practice in violence prevention in Jamaica.
